Thanks to a digital rendering from Haas F1, we got to preview what the 2018 Formula One car will look like. The now-white livery prominently features the Haas logo in bright red, while black covers the ever-important aero features. The bright red seen on the Haas logo also accentuates the rear wing and nose cone. All things considered, this is a much improved livery for Haas. The most interesting feature of the livery by far is the black surrounding the cockpit, which does a great job of hiding the Halo (also in black). This will be an interesting feature to look our for in 2018. Teams could easily use the halo for advertising space and feature showcase it on their cars. However, I have a feeling that most teams will try to trick our eyes into thinking it’s not there.
