Jaguar has reinvented itself in the last few years, with aggressive new styling, an updated technologies, and a lot more power. The all new Jaguar XF Sportbrake encompasses all of these traits beautifully. The Sportbrake is new to the Jaguar  lineup this year and we are glad they decided to add it.

The Inside

The Sportbrake has a gorgeous interior, with plenty of options, the configuration tool on their website offers the ability to explore dozens of internal setups for optimal comfort. These include a beautiful black leather, and a smooth yet vibrant pimento tone for the seats, four different variations for trim, ranging from a warm hickory style wood, a subtle silver, another darker silver with wood style design, and a sporty race inspired carbon fiber accent. The headliner offers two options,  a nice traditional black cloth option, and a very handsome grey velvet. In addition to a legion of options, the Sportbrake offers a ton of room being a wagon. This space can be even better utilized by the fold down back seats. In the Center of the dashboard is a very attractive touchscreen where the entertainment and other features can be controlled.

The Exterior

For a wagon, aggressive is not an easy aesthetic to accomplish .  With that in mind, the Sportbrake achieves this look valiantly. Wide fenders, a bold fascia, big wide wheels, sporty big red calipers, and pizza sized brake rotors make this one badass looking wagon. The side profile is symbolic of a jaguar backed on its hind haunches ready to leap on its prey; and the front face of the car reminds anyone looking at it that they are the prey. Looking head on to the front of the car and your eyes are drawn to the intense brake duct vents.  Surrounding them are spacious air ducts, giving a competitive complex . In addition to the sporty front, the Sportbrake features glorious headlights with beautiful LED strips. the brilliance of the design  appears in the dark when the beautiful lights illuminate the way for the cat on the prowl.

The Power Plant

A sports wagon is only as good as its heart and soul. This Jaguar wagon comes with a 380 horsepower supercharged V6 propelling it from 0-60mph in 5.3 seconds (according to Jaguar’s website). Mated to the engine is an eight speed automatic transmission powering all four wheels (that’s right, it’s All Wheel Drive!!). The Sport Brake is one of the most powerful cars in its class, earning it a special place in our hearts.
